Carpenters Local 256's policy is to support ANY candidate who supports Carpenters issues. This policy has yielded positive results by supporting both Republicans and Democrats, continues today, and is reflective of our members.
The following candidates support workers' rights and agree with us on addressing tax fraud through the misclassification of workers in the August 11, 2020 primary runoff elections.
Carpenters Local 256 interviewed and recommends these candidates based on labor issues because we believe they will best serve your interests as carpenters in the August 11, 2020 primary runoff elections.

The 2020 Primary Runoff Election is Tuesday, August 11, but Local 256 recommends that you VOTE EARLY.
You can early vote in person from Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 31, and from Monday August 3 through Friday August 7, at the Board of Elections Main Office at 1117 Eisenhower Drive. Polls are open from 8 am to 5 pm from July 20-31 and 8 am to 6 pm from August 3-7.
You can also vote early in person at the Pooler Recreation Park, 900 South Rogers Street in Pooler, from Monday, August 3 - Friday, August 7. Polls are open from 10 am to 4 pm.
