Our next Lobby Days event is going virtual! That means you can help sway our legislators to vote on items that put carpenters to work from your car, or even your couch!
Starting TODAY, please help us get the Casino Bill passed, which would create thousands of jobs for union carpenters. We ask that all Georgia carpenters contact your state legislator and ask them to support the Casino Bill.
Time is of the essence - contact your legislator ASAP!
HOW DO I CONTACT THEM? Simply go to this website: Open States search tool. It will give you the state senator and representative for your district, as well as their contact information.
WHAT SHOULD I SAY? Here are the nuts and bolts of what the Casino Bill is and what we want. Just tell them:

And, don't forget about social media. The majority of all state legislators have at least a Facebook or Twitter account. Most lawmakers communicate with constituents on these social media platforms. Simply go to Facebook or Twitter and search for your legislator’s name. And tell them to support the Casino Bill, because Georgia residents need the work!
