Two Alabama high school construction trade programs - Tuscaloosa Career & Technology Academy, and the Shelby County Career Technical Education Center - spent the day recently at the Central Alabama Carpenters and Millwrights Training Center in Pelham, Alabama.
In all, 22 students learned about the apprenticeships from Training Center staff as well as Local 318 Council Representative Jay Schuelly. By the end of the day, every student completed an application to become an apprentice! We are excited to follow-up with these candidates once they graduate to get them going in their career as a union craftsman!
