Career Day Series Allows Students to Hear Benefits of Joining the UBC

Recruiting future carpenters and millwrights is crucial to keep our partnering contractors staffed with skilled professionals, which, in turn keeps members working. Consistent outreach to area schools using the Career Day series is a proven way to get the attention of young adults looking for a career that fits them. Our latest effort occured at East Ridge High School in Chattanooga. Many thanks to David Hall for talking with visitors to our table. David is the carpenter instructor for the Tri-State Carpenters & Millwrights Training Center in Chattanooga.
