Georgia Career Seekers Explore the UBC as an Attractive Option

Millwright Representative for Georgia, Logan Brown, and Augusta Training Coordinator David Dye took time recently to give Georgia students and career seekers a look at the benefits of becomming a union millwright.

The Columbia County Chamber Foundation hosted the Find Your Future Career & College Expo at the Columbia County Exhibition Center in Grovetown, Georgia.

Logan and David met with several interested students and gave them an overview of how beneficial a career with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters is in terms of career stability, financial security, family quality of life, potential to travel (or not) based on preferences, and much more. Visitors also had the chance to work the virtual welding machine!

Well done, Logan and David!
