New Jobsite Leaders Created!

Congratulations to the many brothers and sisters of the Southeastern Carpenters Regional Council who recently completed leadership training at the UBC's International Training Center.

The UBC actively promotes a constructive culture on the jobsite, where members value and motivate one another to achieve their highest potential and ensure maximum productivity.

In the UBC Journeymen: Building Leadership for a Strong Future training, journeymen develop leadership, mentoring, coaching, and communication skills. These journeymen leaders help secure the Brotherhood’s future by learning to engage with newer members and leading by example, all while promoting positive work environments and productivity on the job. Both participants and their supporting contractors benefit by participating in the UBC Journeymen Leadership training program.

Our brothers and sisters completed training alongside members of the Florida Carpenters Regional Council. Part of the training included a leadership panel, where members could hear directly from UBC Southern District Vice President Dennis Donahou, Florida EST James Banks, Southeastern EST Tom Jenkins, Florida Training Director Jimmie Jordan, and Mid-South Training Director Rickey Moore.
