New Nashville Training Center is Open for Business

The new Nashville Training Center is up and running! Classes are being held as finishing touches are being addressed around the structure. Mid-South Training Trust Fund Executive Director Rickey Moore said that since gaining the certificate of occupancy, furniture, training equipment, mockups, and materials continue to be installed around the two-story building. Also in residence now are the offices of Nashville Carpenters Local Union 223.

Core carpenter and scaffolding classes are being held. Director Moore said the facility is hosting these initial classes well. He expects that the activity level at the new training center will continue to increase steadily.
