Two SECRC Members Recognized for Putting Attention to Safety Into Action

Congratulations to carpenters James Smith and CJ Riley for earning the Tri-Lateral Safety Alliance�s Safety Award for their work at the latest Tennessee Valley Authority�s Sequoyah Nuclear Plant outage.

James, from�Local 283�and shown on the left, noticed some welding sparks near flammable material and stopped the job long enough to get the material moved. CJ, from�Local 74�and shown on the right, redesigned a scaffold inside containment, which saved time and radiation dosing for our carpenters. Congratulations, brothers! You make the SECRC proud!
